On July 24, 1949, the first Export and Sample Show began in Dornbirn. It lasted until August 7 – a full two weeks. This event laid the foundation for the long and successful history of Messe Dornbirn.

Today, Messe Dornbirn operates the Messequartier Dornbirn as well as the sports facilities located there,sports facilities, acts as atrade fair and event service provider and serves as an active communication platform available to its clients year-round. Even the very first fair impressed with its innovative strength, professional execution, and authentic connection to the region, economy, and society. Visitors from the four-country region already flocked to Dornbirn back then. Today, Messe Dornbirn, together with the Messequartier Dornbirn and its various trade fair formats, is the largest marketplace for Vorarlberg and the DACH region.

With TECH.CON, movatec and good work, we have also created a platform for industry and companies in the four-country region.
